Digital technologies are transforming the landscape of the modern construction industry by improving the ways in which built assets are developed and maintained throughout their lifecycle. Mature information modelling and management practices are increasingly helping the industry to better respond to continuously evolving socio-economic needs ranging, for example, from optimal thermal comfort and occupancy levels to more extraordinary concerns, such as how to manage the safety and well-being of people during a pandemic.
The theme of the 2nd Westminster Digital Business Symposium is Digital Construction. The academic and industrial speakers of this symposium will discuss current issues of the modern construction industry such as digital twins, data management, smart cities and collaboration in the digital built environment.
We invite academics, students, practitioners and anyone interested in Digital Construction to participate in this event.
The link to the online symposium will be communicated to all registered participants prior to the event.
